Adelaide - Out and About

So I've arrived in Adelaide and the first few days have been pretty busy really. Went straight from the airport to see my Auntie in Kapunda, which is a copper mining town about an hour north of the city. On day one I managed to catch up with 7 of my 33 cousins (or partners of cousins) and then another 5 on the second day. Spent the whole day with the latest addition to the family over here, Mia. She's 4 months old, eats more than me, but is very cute.
On my third day I went to a BBQ and met up with another 4 of the rellies. We had a nice bit of kangaroo steak which was pretty tasty. It's a bit like beef, but a bit tougher. They have BBQs all the time over here as the temperature rarely gets down below 10 degrees, even in the winter. It's currently spring, as they have the opposite seasons to us in England, and this week's been very hot (around 30 degrees) so I've gone and managed to get myself a bit burnt!
Tomorrow a few of us are heading up to the Clare Valley to visit a few vineyard and taste some lovely wine. Looking forward to that trip.
