oh my god! the heat was sooo stiffling!
April 18, 2009
back in las piƱas, in my neighnorhood, we were determined, to go into the public swimming pool owned by aling hermie (mrs. hermie) hahaha. at the front door of the house, i was knocking loudly and practically screaming to let us in, hahaha but to no use as that damn dog kept barking up and swallowing the screeching i made.
after 15 minutes of useless knocking, we were about to give up, until came a motorbike! my best friend in the neighborhood joel showed up! i introduced him to ben and complained that we were knocking 2x now but aling hermie wouldnt open up! arrghh! then joel said, that the entrace door had been changed and its on the backside now. hahahaha arrgghhh i was an idiot knocking for nothing, but how should i know?!! hahaha.
so we got a ride from joel's motorbike, the 3 of us crammed then he brought us to the swimming pool! FINALLY!
but when we got there, there was some sort of children's party and i dont know if they allow walk in guests, but apprently i talked to aling hermie (hahah i love saying it! hahaha) and she said its was ok! so its 100 pesos for the whole day! about 1. 80 euros! not bad at all!
the water was really good to wade in! i took about 6-7-8 laps in the pool while ben critized me that i do not know how to swim, i told him, if my feet doenst touch the floor anymore, i get phobia. then we played into the water, the one who can stay underwater for long, it was a tie between us! hahahaa.
the water was really really really refreshing, i could stay there all day! but after seeing my skin and ben's wrinkled like a baby pug, we decided to head back to the house!
in the house as we were changing clothes, ben noticed my freebie swag bag from aigner and he said he got one too from cathay pacific and i asked him where it is, and he showed it to me and i laughed! hahahaha. so we opened the contents and compared what we got, but the ratio was completely staggering! hahaha.
after eating our dinner, we went to the internet cafe, checked our mails, and chill out in the store of my friend annie.
tomorrow we will pack everything, as we were heading straight to the mountains after the manila meet up!
