entering mountain province!
after 4 hours of bumpy and butt aching ride, we left benguet and entered another province called "mountain province" and the first municipality is bauko! i almost cried when we entered bauko because 5 years ago, i worked as a tour guide, and my first tour was in this town, because in this town lies a mountain called mt. data, and at the peak of mt. data is a hotel called mt. data hotel. me and the guests stayed there for a couple nights, were the hotel generously entertained us with igorot (the local tribe that dominates the cordillera region) customs and traditions, warfare and singing.

as soon as we entered mountain province, the road changed! mountain province is one of the poorest provinces in the philippines, if the road from baguio to buguias (the last town of benguet province) was concreted, it was still bumpy. but here in mountain province, the halsema highway is dirtroad, dusty and the bumpiest ride that every person can imagine!

looking at bauko municipality, my smile got wider and wider, because soon, in about 2 hours, we will be in sagada!

ah marami tayong pamamaraan ng pagbabanat ng buto sa sagada, pupuwede niyong palitan kahit isang tanghali ang kalabaw at matikman niyo ang tinatawa na "init sa magdamag"

hahaha natawa ako dun! hahha
