joys of riding the countryside!

after our religious and high cultural tour, yes, sometimes we need a break from being cavemen ahahaha. its time to go back to iloilo city! we decided to havel ucnh there, since the bread from the bakery filled us up and ben and me still have that mojo potato we ordered last night.

we more more relaxed going back to iloilo city, i asked ben to sit beside me in the front, and so he did excitedly, apprently, he wanted to do that since the beginning, but well.. i am selfish. ahahaha. i wanted the front seat all mine! ahaha kidding. anyway, we were having fun on the front seat and enjoying the countryside.

i told ben, that in the provinces, the public transportation is scarce as opposed in the big cities, specially manila.

ben couldnt believe this!

here in the privinces, one tricycle can carry as  much as FIFTEEN PEOPLE as opposed to 4-5 passengers in the big city and jeepneys carry as much as 30 people! hahaha ben doenst believe me, because he said its simply NOT POSSIBLE. well, i told him just wait and see.

not long after, a jeepney on our lane passed by us and ben was open mouthed at the sight of it! hahahaha it was like FORTY PEOPLE were inside the passenger jeep which can really acually carry 20 passengers! ahahahaha, then at the same time, a tricycle passed us and it was full of people till the roof! ahahahaha. ben said to me, that i wasnt really kidding when i told him that! ahahaha.

but i was really really so tired and sleepy. i closed my eyes for a bit, but i didnt knew that i slept while on the fron seat and that would be scary because i might fall! ahahaha. apprently someone was really enjoying it.  i heard laughter and when i opened my tired eyes, i saw ben the poodle taking pics of me while i was sleeping with my mouth wide open! arrrrghhhh, ill get my revenge soon enough! ahahaha.

as we reached iloilo city, we went to a mall at the food court. my aunt again wanted to pay everything but we stopped her! ahahaha, so me and ben wandered around, the food court was small and lots of people as it was lunch time. we found a spot., and saved seats fo us. ben had chicken inasal, a specialty in the western visayas region, chicken grilled with special bbq sauce to die for, while i had batchoy - again. ahahah i had to stuff myself with batchoy because if i go back to germany it would be a decade again before i can eat it! i can make chicken inasal easily here in germany but batchoy not! as the noodles are very special and hard to find.

ben and me finished eating before the others did, so i asked my aunt if we can wander around the mall because ben wnated to buy a new camera, while my aunt wanted to buy something too, so we separated, ben and me wandered from camera to camera shop but nothign fancies him excet the new canon ixus but that was fucking expensive even for philippine standards!

so in the end, we went to the supermarket to buy batteries! ahahhaah and something like a 1millionth customer sale there because salesladies were wearing funny hats and i told ben to hurry up! because it would be embarassing if we won something! ahahahah.

after our little shopping, we went back to la paz district packed our bags and said goodbye to lai and rommel and thanked them for their wonderful hospitality!

its time for our last stop before our flight! to my mother's farm!
