Apparently this is one of the best areas in New Zealand to live - due to the amount of sunshine it gets. It's certainly been very sunny, if a little chilly in the mornings (-6C yesterday).
Staying at Nelson YHA for $40 a night, in a twin room all to my self. Not too bad.
Quite a few European-themed bars, like House of Ales (serves accredited Heineken, whatever that involves).
Might venture out for some walking today, if I can find a good half-day walk, as the weather is so nice.
