Nice drive in rain from Weaverville to Chico, to stay at the Best Western Hotel there. The area has a lot of walnut plantations!
The best thing for me, about Chico, was Chico FM on the radio. A big relief to get some music that fits my musical taste, rather than Country music or religious preaching.
