steep road, very narrow, could not turn the car here.

Normal people would park there car in the parking area for visitors. But not my husband. He always thinks he can find a better place so he would not have to walk so far. And of course he did it again. We drove into Portimao, but he should have been warned, because old Albufeira is about the same. Very narrow streets. Our car we rented was not a very small one. So we got lost, and the road we were following was getting more and more narrow. We new we had to go back. Yes many one way streets and very hard to turn the car. But we had to. First we had to know which way we should take, i was lucky there was a lady standing in her doorway and she spoke German (that is very rare for Portugese people) and showed us the correct way out. We have never tried to do this again!!
