Our Zion Adventure Begins!!
It seems that the drive to Zion was over in the blink of an eye...maybe that's because Jenn and I had an amazing conversation catching up on everything since we last saw each other in Palm Springs! Little did we realize that this was going to be the beginning of an amazingly beautiful weekend hiking with friends through one of the most picturesque National Parks in the US.
Once in Springdale, Utah we went to check in to the Majestic View Lodge which sits just 3 miles East of the gates to Zion and certainly lives up to it's name!! It resembles a rustic log cabin type atmosphere complete with a steakhouse, wildlife museum and saloon! Unfortunately our rooms were not yet ready but our lovely front desk person was kind enough to give us the keys and put us in rooms on the second floor with a balcony that faced the mountains!!! Wooo hoooo! It always pays to schmooze front desk people! ;)
We weren't about to waste anymore time so off to Zion we went to enjoy some great hiking and shenanigans!
