Making good on a promise of better meteor shower viewing to Jenn and Tracy during our Palms Springs weekend together we unknowingly did a test drive of the "BIG CHILL" meetup I'm proposing for June 2009. This was a PERFECT weekend of hiking, bonding, stargazing and storytelling amongst old and new friends brought together thanks to Travbuddy!

The Journey To Zion...via Dunkin Donuts!

The guys showing some pre hike solidarity and strength...the women were not fooled! ;)

After having picked BiG (BiGLush_23) up from the airport we raced back to my place and shortly afterward my sweet LA core crew arrived!! After a quick tour of my house and the back yard complete with an agricultural tour of all the stuff I grow in the desert, we were all in dire need of some sleep...so with only 3 hours left before having to get up...we tried our best to get some shut eye!

With Nancy being the first of my core Vegas crew to arrive Saturday morning around 5:30 Am we slowly awoke from our VERY short sleep (hell we may as well call that a nap!). RJ soon found my place and now we were ready to hit the road...We split up the group between my car (Jenn, Sheila, Nancy and me) and RJ's truck (Nih, BiG, Tracy and RJ) and after a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts for a breakfast of Champions and a quick photoshoot (in true TB fashion), we were on our way to Zion!!
