With joy to Malaysia and with pain in my heart back home.

Up to Malaysia

Here we go!

Well my friends, like i told you before. It was 13 years ago I went to Malaysia. Each year I hoped to return, but somehow it was postponed every time. Before my father died, I still wanted to go with him. But it never happend...unfortunately my prayers have never been heard…

Travel started on Thursday 25 September 2008. I had so much joy to see my family. With my younger brother and mom we flew with Royal Dutch Airlines at 9:00pm up to Kuala Lumpur. The journey was okay, but behind me there was a man who irritated me. Okay, in the beginning I thought that he was calling someone, but no...that crazy, annoying f*cker kept couching during the whole flight of 12 hours.

I became nuts! Also he kept pressing my chair with his legs. At a given moment I had it enough, turned around facing him and gave him an angry look! Afterwards he became quite calm. hehehe…. Eventually we arrived (KLIA) Kuala Lumpur Airport and from there we took the train to Kuala Lumpur Centre. One-way costs 35 RM (Ringgit Malaysia), in euro' s is that € 6,69. An direct tour less than 30 minutes. I felt myself as a tourist when I look out of the window. I saw the Twin Towers, big buildings and a lot of other things.

Ipoh.

Ipoh is in size the third city of Malaysia. The inhabitant number is more than one half million. It becomes, however, " The city of the millonairs" called.

It is relative " rich" city in Malaysia, but full with beautiful shoppingmalls and outside restaurants with delicious food.

There we stayed in the Ritz Garden hotel. I must say that it is not expensive for a night. After we had booked a room, we went out for dinner at a well-known outside restaurant where I ate as a child also. Man, all the good food I had to miss after all those years!! The surroundings were very busy, but very sociable. The next day we visited the Chinese temple: Lin Sen Ton. Since i was a child we prayed for our belief the Buddha. For some little money you buy a complete bunch incense and at each pot with ash and an image of Chinese gods you put 3 incense in the pot. After visiting the temple we went for shopping and at evening we went out for dinner.

No I had not read the blog but we've often talked about her on IM before so I know how much you cared about her. Life works in mysterious ways and who knows, you guys could be meant for each other. Give it a try again and see what happens. The long distance thing sucks as I am likely to find out myself but if you truly care about someone, you will find a way to make it work!

Damn...does this mean I need to get my tattoo of you removed since you are back together? BWWWAAAHAAAA Sorry, you know I couldn't be serious the whole comment, right? :D
