Malacca, Selamat Hari Raja

After 3 days kampong Raja, we drove to Ipoh out for lunch and shopping with the famillie. It was a hot day with temperatures of certainly 30 degrees. My brother and I went to Melakka for 3 days. My mother left for a week with my other uncle and aunts. The first week of October there was: Selamat Hari Raya (Malaysian New Year). By the grand festival many companies or shops are closed. Melakka is a historical coast city where the Portugese, the British and the Dutchies took over their colony. There you will also see old things of the Dutch like the Red Square and Stadhuys. Also there is a Chinatown with many shops and restaurants. The most known restaurant: Famosa Chicken Rice Ball.
