The Shadow Of The Castle

The time was 6 a.m. and we had our first pints of Bulmers well on their way down so got another round in. I looked at Bryan as we both gave each other the knowing look as if to say, "this is how the weekend is gonna go"
Word to the wise, Ryanair fly into Prestwick which is not exactly within Glasgow as you might think. Train journey's do provide ample drinking opportunites and I guess a chance to see the countryside whizz by if you are into that kind of thing. Glasgow, well it didnt exactly blow us over but we didnt discover Pear Bulmers which was another welcome change.
By the time we eventually got to the hostel in Edinburgh, we were really looking forward to a pint.
Luckily the hostel were showing the English game so the girls went off to presumably do girlie things whatever the hell they do when we arent around, while the men watched the football, like the manly men we are. As the two token Irish lads who clearly have no wish to see England, we decided to leave at half time when we realised our chants for Kazahkstan were not drumming up the right atmosphere.
We eventually found the girls after several mishaps on the streets and bars of Edinburgh. They showed us to all the others. Bondy & Hannah really got a good group together.
I would love to say that after this moment, things begin to get a bit hazy but unfortunately the photos bring the memories flying back! So rather than rehashing all the events, I'll simply say, check out the photos and come to the next meet up any of the people from this meet up are at.
