Last sauna in Finland

We're here at my parents' place, we had a really relaxing sauna and said hello to my grandma. I'm still completely calm, I think the fact of actually doing this adventure will hit me only when we're in the airplane to Delhi. We tried to get rid of some stuff because we still have too much things to carry with us. It's incredebly difficult to pack the minimun possible, I think I want too much comfort (and that's also what Nico is saying). I will realise all the useless things I'm carrying around for three months, for sure...

It's weird to travel by plane. This morning we left Montecchio at 4 am and we ended up in a completely different world in bloody chilly Finland where everything's so well organized...tomorrow we will leave this comfort and pleasure and finish in Delhi where the reality is again so different. Travelling by plane really makes you loose the understanding of distances. I guess in Australia this topic of distances will be even more evident...
Amanda says:
I have always said that there was something unhealthy about airplane travel. There is no reality of how you got to the new place, because it takes so little time and you don't watch it happening the same way you would in a car, bus, or train. It's like our souls can't move at quite that same speed as the airplane, and it takes a while to catch up when you arrive.
