Off we go to Zion! its Breast-takingly beautiful!

Im not sure how this trip was conceived but im glad it was cause it was right after my midterms and i could use a good vacation.. So the day started off early in the morning 530 am.. i drove to sals house where i met up with Sal (its his house) Jenn, Tracy, Nancy, Shiela, Nhi and Big.  Jenn Tracy Shiela and Nhi drove from LA the night before and so they didnt get much sleep. Big flew in from San Francisco and Nancy Me and Sal are ofcourse local vegas peeps.. the plan was to leave vegas at 6am sharp.. ofcourse that never happened. im not sure what time we left the house but we did go for a DUNKIN DONUTS run.. we ordered a bunch of donuts and breakfast sandwiches etc.. then we got some gas and water and off we go! we were about an hour and half late leaving vegas but that was okay. . we took two cars.. Sals car which had jenn shiela and nancy.. then my truck which had tracy nhi and big. Sal was leading cause even though ive been there a katrillion times i dont know my way there. haha.. we got there around 10 am.. and headed toward the national park. we decided to hike the emerald pools hike cause it was moderate and should be good for everyone. there was ofcourse LOTS of picture taking so it was slow going at first.. too many distractions like funny signs.. tarantulas.. plants... rocks... people.. hahha but it was great.. we reached the first middle pool and decided to do some exploring off the beaten path.. me, nhi, big, tracy, shiela and nancy went on a mission to touch the wall of the mountain... we got pretty close but had to turn back cause it seemed pretty dodgy. .. we played marco polo with sal and jenn who stayed by the first middle pool.. when we reached them again.. everyone was getting pretty hungry.. STEAK! that was on everyones mind.. but we still had the upper emarald pool to go.. so we hike up there and it was a pretty big pool.. a little girl threw a sand ball at nancys butt.. hahaah dunno why... there was alot of people there so it was noisy plus all those kids.. argh.. then we hiked back down to the lower pool where we went under the dirty waterfall.. then we found this wall with holes and did some awesome posing shots.. then back to our hotel where there was a steak house.. jenn didnt join us cause she was really tired from lack of sleep.. so it was just the seven of us.. the food was great. . and everyone was full.. sleep time! some of us went straight to sleep.. the instant sal hit the bed.. hes out like a light. haha i think tracy and nancy went to the jacuzzi... we got a few hours sleep then we woke up around 1am.. it was time for the meteor shower!! this is what the trip was all about... so we jumped in our cars and drove back into the zion park and into the tunnell and found a nice clearing.. then we pilled blankets and sleeping bags into the back of my truck and all jumped in.. it was nice and cozy as we looked for shooting stars... we had food and music from sals meteor mix.. and great conversation. the moon was out so it was hard to spot the meteors but we did see a few of them.. it was great.. nancy jenn shiela and tracy headed back to the comfort of the inside of our cars for some sleep while me sal nhi and big stayed outsided and looked for more meteors.. it was really a great experience and very relaxing and amazingly beautiful.. we looked at clouds and shapes they took.. stars.. the moon.. told stories.. and discussed the secrets of the universe... the when the sky was totally covered with clouds around 430 am.. we headed back to the hotel where we got some much needed sleep...
