Lauro and Henning
My trip started on Friday at 2:30pm at train station in Finnentrop in Sauerland. I arrived in Düsseldorf at about 4:30pm. As my grandmother lives in Düsseldorf I could stay at her apartment! So, I visited her first before I met up with the others in the Altstadt the party-district of Düsseldorf with tons of bars, clubs and restaurants! Most of you will know, grandmothers never let you go anywhere without have eaten something first! ;) Filled with Bratkartoffeln and Schnitzel, I took the tram to Altstadt at about 7:30 pm and got to the meeting point (McDonald´s) on time! I received a message from Lauro, asking me where I was. Well, where was I? At the meeting point of course, but where are you guys? Suddenly Lauro showed up and took me to those who were already there for the Düsseldorf sightseeing tour in the afternoon.
Jacki and Guido
Jacki, Daniel, Alex, Guido and Rosi welcomed me…well, actually Rosi immediately said goodbye as she had to leave like two minutes after I arrived! At least, we had two minutes to meet each other and take a picture together! Next time, Rosi! :) After a few minutes, Henning joined us. We had some beers together, talked and Jacki entertained us with Origami, horse-butt-slapping and cheering up a stag party! Then we left to eat something in a Spanish restaurant (for further recommendation ask Jacki ;))! As I had already eaten loads of Bratkartoffeln and Schnitzel, I just took a salad which kind of confused Lauro! After a while Thy showed up! We were pretty surprised as Lauro told us, she wouldn´t come, but eventually found out, he didn´t read her message correctly! Anyway, everybody was happy about her presence! After a few funny conversations with the restaurant-personnel and The King (Elvis), we left the Restaurant and went to a bar! That bar finally convinced Alex that he has to move to Germany soon as it was allowed to smoke in there! We had countless beers and a lot of funny, interesting, hilarious conversations! I have no idea when, but apparently we left the bar and walked to the central station, as Daniel had to catch his train to Witten, Jacki to Cologne and Thy to Mettmann.
Daniel and Alex´s back
On the way to the central station, Henning left us to go home, Alex went to his hotel and Guido to his car as he drove home that night. Daniel, Jacki and Thy were faster than Lauro and I and suddenly Lauro was gone as well (his statement: I went home, because I had to pee urgently :D). So, I went to the central station where I met those who were left. They told me, that Thy missed her train. We convinced her not to wait until 5am for the next train, but to take a taxi. Eventually, she agreed. Then Alex had to take his train. I decided to wait with Jacki for her train and so did Thy. As we got to the track we noticed that her train had a delay of 45 minutes, which left us some time for some more conversation and funny improvisational games, Jacki taught us! Jacki´s train came and we said goodbye to her, then Thy and I went to the taxi station outside of the central station said goodbye to each other and took our taxis! I got back to my grandmother´s apartment around 4am.
Jacki´s bruises from going crazy on Oktoberfest in Munich! :D
