Sun Rise, Sun Set

When we had finished our patrol and walking back to climb into our beds to catch up on our missing sleep, we happened to look back towards the shore only to spy an amazingily beautiful sun rise. I knew I had to take advantage of this moment, so Bob joined us for a few memorable photos.
And what a sun rise it was!!
Before long I was being woken up for breakfast only to be told that me, Kelly & Sarah were on Hatchery watch. So it's another tough day working on the beach for us. Boy, is my life just the most tough life in the world. Honest, I did a poll on the subject and it turns out that I agree with myself on this. Can't argue with evidence.
The best way to unwind after a hard day at work is to have a really relaxing shower. When I got to the waterfall I soon realised I was not the only person to have such an original idea.
After lunch I thought I would try my hand at climbing up the mountain like the others had done the other day. It couldn't really be that hard a walk now could it, doesnt look like a very high mountain. More like a hill. A very steep hill as it turns out. Very steep. The views were certainly worth it when I reached the top. I was even lucky to see a family of Spider Monkeys playing around in the trees next to the path. I love those little guys. Their eyes are so amazing, so human.
By the time I had recovered from the climb to the top, the sun had already begun its swift journey below the horizon. The sun sets very quickly here in Punta Banco. The sky turned a colour that I do not believe I had ever seen it go before. For a few moments the sky truly seemed to turn a shade of silver. Today was not yet complete yet it had become one of the most visually stunning days I have yet to witness and it had not even come to a close yet.
Dinner was yet another lovely meal prepared by the lady next door. Afterwards we all kinda just hung around the house having a laugh until first watch.
