Mission in El Salvador
February 9, 2007
After several setbacks, (I almost lost my panties in Houston airport with this crazy American safety) the Spanish team gets finally in San Salvador!!!
For Daniel and me was our first time in this country. El Salvador is a little country with just 6 millions people. The microfinance here represents 40% of GDP, an important figure in the microfinance sector. Also the finance system seems to be very developed. Therefore we get here, to know what are their needs and achievements and try to give them technical assistance.
The schedule seems to be very busy, hopefully in the evening too because the first recommendation arriving in this country is “Do not go out at dusk”. Well, I think my cleverness in bringing dvd’s and UNO going to help us!!!
