beautiful white beaches

Beside the stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote it also has also several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo. We were staying in Playa Blana and I must say after we have discovered the island - we made a very good decision to stay here for the two weeks. We rented a car and went on several day tours to discover the island for the first week and most of the second week we stayed at the beach - just being lazy! ;-)
From Playa Blanca you can take a 1/2 hr ferry ride to the next island Fuerteventura.
