Ao Nang Beach
With nothing much else to do and the rest of the volunteers out working, Matt and I decided to take a songthaew (bus) into Ao Nang after lunch and explore around a bit. We wandered the beach, taking a quick swim, explored the town and stores briefly and then took the bus back to the house. By the time we returned the rest of the volunteers had returned from a Mangrove day. Met the rest of the volunteers who were from all around the world (Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, UK, US, among those that I remember). Got to know the old folks a bit as we had dinner and being that I was utterly exhausted and hitting the proverbial wall, I climbed into bed at 7:00 PM and slept the sleep of the dead until the next morning.
