Short Ride, Tight Squeeze on the train to Liuzhou

A bit after 15:30 we boarded train K9303 (leaving at 16:15) for Liuzhou. This was a local train so we crammed into hard-seaters for 2-hours. That wasn't so bad even if it was a tight fit with all of our luggage and gear. The most amusing (or annoying) depending on your viewpoint was all the marketing that went on to the captive crowd in the train. First it was some food and drink, then some toys (including a classic RUBIK'S Twist Snake that I had not seen in years). But the best was the counterfeit-bill spotter device. First this guy had everyone on the train seeing if they could spot the counterfeit bill and then he pulled out this small UV pen-light that supposedly allowed one to spot the counterfeit bills. Sold quite a few to the local crowd on the train. Me, I just enjoyed watching the action even if I couldn't understand any of the vocals.
We arrived in Liuzhou and dropped our stuff at the "left luggage counter" and then found a restaurant for another amazing Chinese dinner. I could definitely get used to eating here, the food is so good. After dinner we had some time to kill around Liuzhou before retrieving our luggage and returning to the waiting area for our next train ride.
