No major episodes overnight last night.  Managed to have some toast for breakfast along with some tea, hoping that the stomach would settle.  Beyond that it was water and Gatorade trying desperately to rehydrate.  I felt so completely fatigued even though I had slept most of in the neighborhood of 18 hours yesterday afternoon, evening, and overnight.

Today's walk was even shorter than yesterdays (thank goodness).  But it was a supreme struggle for me as my energy reserves were completely depleted.  It was another 400m (1310 ft) of elevation gain to Thorung Phedi at 4450m (14600ft).  If today had been the pass day over Thorung La, not sure I would have managed.

As it was I don't remember much about the walk.

Thorung Phedi (literally the foot of Thorung)
It was a 3-hour, 25-minute struggle up the valley, across some dangerous landslide areas (a few sections of trail are sign-posted not to stop in said area as the risk of landslide is quite high).  But eventually we arrived and settled in at our lodge in Thorung Phedi.  Was feeling better stomach wise and managed to eat a plate of plain rice and some potato soup for lunch.  Definitely needed more though before tomorrow morning so was very happy when there were no complications in the afternoon.  Dinner was similarly problem free and I was feeling much better about the climb over the pass tomorrow morning.  Learned that wake up call in the morning would be at 4 AM for a 5 AM departure.  The pass crossing would be an 8-10 hour day with a 1000m (3280 ft) climb to the pass and then a 1600m (5250 ft) descent into Muktinath.  Should be fun!!!
