my quick vegas trip

i just got back from vegas a few days ago. its the strangest place it forever changes, and yet stays the same, at the same time.
as always i go to vegas with the same idea in mind. i am going to go to shows see the strip and show family around (i have been to vegas almost every year from age 21 til now) and when i get there i find a table or sports and race book and thats as much of vegas as i see.
yes i have a problem. im addicted to gambling, knowing is not half the battle. getting help does not help. offering to show people around does not impress if you don't do it. maybe it's not vegas that doesn't change...........
ok so we fly in on united airlines. this is the part of blogging that i love you can say what you feel and get away with it.
for those who have not flown united or ted its low cost wing it sucks. they are the worst airline i have had the misstake of flying on ever. i should note that i have flown BMI baby, easy jet, and other low cost european airlines and they are heads and shoulders above united.
first grip the seats are tiny, yes i am large but lets face it these seats seem smaller then europe low cost air. secondly we had to sit on the plane for an hour before leaving waiting on other passingers, and finally get to take off and land over an hour late. thats an hour of my time on my trip lost because these idiots cannot leave on time.
ok so we finally get to vegas, and we couldnt get the cars we needed for all the people we went with (over 20 people traveled with us) so we take a shuttle $6.
my advice for vegas is the same as always
do not take more then you want to lose in cash
do not take credit cards
enjoy the sights
do not take family members who will give you more and more money then you should lose
do not continue to get more and more money from those family members
i did have a great time it's just that like having a great time going out and drinking the hangover always reminds you that you can over do it
