The ´colourful´ Ipanema Bloco party

After the non-event that was the Santa Teresa bloco party (or attempt to go to the bloco, ending up with 4 very worried people and what sounded like gun-shots), The Ipanema bloco had a much warmer welcome, with much fun and drink to be had on a sunny afternoon.

So we headed to Ipanema, a few of the girls wore their carnaval masks, and we followed the sounds of samba beat and hoards of colourful people. When i say colourful, i mean it took all sorts from trannies to drags to hags. We soaked it all up with a skol (beer) in one hand, doing our best effort at a samba style shuffle to the beat of the drums.
