Iguaçu Falls - Brasillian Side

Puerto Iguazu Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

Helicopter rides, walking over the rivers and viewing the Devil´s Throat of the falls. Here is where you suddenly realise you are very tiny in the scheme of things and that there feels to be a force much greater than yourself at work - as josh said `no wonder they believed in river gods´!

Iguaçu Falls - Brasillian Side

from helicopter

After staying in sweaty small hotels and overnight busses, the Foz do Iguaçu hotel comes as a warm welcome. It has a great pool area with a bar right nearby and a games area, bring on the caprinias!!!

after checking in, our first stop is off too the helicopter tour over the Iguaçu Falls. Iguaçu is the biggest falls in the world in terms of volume. Even in the distance you can see the spray rising in the air like a steaming bowl of soup, only to then encounter the most powerfull forces of falling water and what seems like hundreds of wateralls. (this is the part where i attach the big f**k off lens to the camera).

afterwards, we enter the iguassu national park and start our tour inside. We walk through forest with little fury critters, gorgeous butterflies, lizards and bugs! heading over boardwalks and everything view is just as amazing as the next, especially when we get to the devil´s throat, this is where the biggest volume of water flows out of one area.

that evening, Josh makes caprinias and later a few of us head to the corner cafe for dinner, feeling very tired we dont stay too late and get ready for tomorrow - Argentinian side!
