Moorea, French Polynesia

My vacation package to French Polynesia required a departure from Los Angeles. That doesn't seem like a big deal -- unless you live in Honolulu Hawaii. I had to backtrack 5 hours to Los Angeles and then fly 8 hours from L.A. to Papeete. Oh well, that's the breaks. Upon arrival in Papeete we immediately caught a 15 minute inter-island flight to Moorea.
I stayed at an over the water bungalow at the Sheraton, Moorea. The bungalows are fantastic. Each one had a private deck with stairs leading into the Sheraton's lagoon. The lagoon was loaded with tropical fish and some fairly nice corals. I love to snorkel and thoroughly enjoyed checking out all of the fish. We stayed at the Sheraton Moorea for 5 days and then left for Bora Bora.
