The lines for clearing customs were just Endless!!! 4 flights arrived at same time, it was terrible!!! Ok, I took a deep breath and chose a line. There were 5 lines there, but these weren't the only lines. You had to make a line to go to another one, OMG!!! Finally after the last one, you'd be able to clear customs. I have always heard people complaining about long lines in Lima, but this was the 1st time I saw it.
After almost 2 hours I was ready with customs. I took a pic of the long lines, since it was something unbelievable!!! I went to claim my bag. At least it came fast, haha. The taxi driver was waiting for me. I tried to take my camera in order to take a pic of the crowded airport and it wasn't there!!! OMG! My pink camera!!! Nooooooo. I went back to try to look for it, but it wasn't successful :(
Ok, 2 things could have happened:
1.- somebody took it from the pocket of my bag, which means it was stolen...
2.- it fall down when I took out my passport and who found it kept for him/herself.
buu, I'm gonna miss my bright pink camera!!!!! but it's something material. Fortunately most of the pics have already been downloaded. Just missed the ones from Friday and Saturday... nevermind... I'll survive and get a new one, haha.
When I arrived home it was almost 2am!!!! My parents were so glad to see me, but I think Gunther was the happiest, haha. At first he didn't want to come closer - was trying to punish me, hehe - but then he jumped and didn't want me to move, haha. My house was a chaos!!! It was being painted, but the painters almost finished their work. Next morning they will end it, hehe. Oh!!! I missed these busy days, haha. I chatted with my parents for a while, while Gunther was sniffing my bag. I was ready to go to bed, but before that I checked TB to see if somebody would be in town the next days...
Yes, I know it, I'm an addict, hehe.
