On the way to Krakow's biggest shopping center to help boosting the Polish economy :-)
I decided to start my stay here in Krakow with some shopping, as this city is full of shopping centers. Yet, the old town itself seems to be the biggest one. However, I came back with almost bare hands and the knowledge, that it's disadvisable to look for clothes in shops with a 4 m high ceiling. Where I was, the changing rooms had a curtain and it was impossible to draw it more than half. So it's a fairly awkward situation standing there with an almost bare backside while everebody can see one^^.

On my way back home it seemed as if I had a guardian angel, because I was almost run over twice. Stupidly, I already had forgotten that the drivers in Poland don't care about pedestrian lights and crosswalks. So everytime you cross a street you literally have to "run for your life" which can give you some thrill when you have to get to the other side of one of the busier streets :-)

Back home I met up with my uncle.
Kopiec Pilsudskiego
Together, we went to the Kopiec Pilsudskiego. It's more abroad than the Kopiec Kosciuszki, but there are much less tourist, the surroundings are more beatiful and you don't have to pay for getting up there. Unfortunately, there sky wasn't as blue as in the morning, so one couldn't see so far. But nevertheless, this small trip was really nice as we wandered through the forest first - a welcome change.

In the evening I made my second try to go dancing. The day before I already had driven through half of the city to get to the Salsa Club "El Sol". Having reached it, I had to learn that someone celebrated his or her birthday there so that it was only open for guests. Couldn't they make an announcement earlier??
After all, yesterday there was a party as usual. But I have to say that I wasn't swept off my feet. It was nice, but unspectacular. At least I found out, where the Krakowians are going on Wednesdays and Thursdays. So let's see what it will be like today...
