Embassy Suites Airport North Los Angeles

I was picked to go on detachment to El Centro in CA. Well out of the 10 days there I was only in El Centro for 3. The rest was spent on the big open road.
Another great stay at Embassy Suites.
After our scary experience at the Ramada Plaza and finding out that we had to stay in LA another night, we took matters into our own hands and picked the Embassy Suites because it was right opposite where we needed to be in the morning and we already knew about the managers special. We turned up at reception at 5pm with no reservation. We explained that we were a little bit stranded and needed a room each for the night. We had no trouble what so ever getting rooms and even got rooms next door to each other and lucky for us it was 10 minutes until the bar opened. This particular hotel had just been refurbished and you could still smell the paint. The rooms were big and even had a little balcony. It had a king size bed with tons of cushions. The managers reception was,as usual, not a bad one with generous measures and plenty of pop corn and nachos. After that we went to the bar for a few more drinks and some food. The service was good and so was the food. Overall, another great stay at the Embassy Suites.
