Traveling through mainland Greece

Driving the E951 through western mainland Greece

Since I have to tie a location to a journal/pictures, this entry encompases the drive through the western mainland.

We crossed the bridge and headed northwest through the countryside.  Somewhere along the way, we pulled off the highway to stop at a supermarket.  We picked up our usual items for lunch, lunchmeat, fruit, bread, snacks for later, and drove a little further down the road.  Once we reached a little town right on the water, we pulled off and ate our lunch right on the water's edge.  I wish I could remember the name of the town, it was so cute!

Once we finished lunch, we continued north along the highway.  We then made it to Ioannina, which was a short distance from our destination for the night up in the mountains.
