Here we go again!
After all the excitement and the planning, we were once again on our way to the airport. After saying goodbye to my father, who graciously drove us all the way through flooded roads to get there, we set off to check in and find some dinner. Since the midwest had been recently hit by tons of rain, we left quite early to ensure that we would arrive at the airport on time. We had a bit of time to kill before our flight, but it was fun to chat and people watch.
Our flight to Zurich was very quick, two movies and a nap and we were there. It was great to be back in Europe again! Although this was just a stop-over, it was there that I got very excited about what was to come. Before we knew it, we were on our way to Istanbul, Turkey...and 2.5 weeks of adventure!
