Punakaiki and the Pancake Rocks

Still on a high from the fantastic flight this morning, I cruised up the coast in the direction of Nelson Lakes, with a couple of quick stops on the way.  I had heard about the pancake rocks but was much more impressed with them than I imagined I'd be.  A photogenic jumble of layered rock columns with swirling seas, blowholes, natural bridges and surge basins all around.
