We took some time to explore Reynolda Gardens today (Easter and Jesse's birthday), just to relax a little. The gardens seemed like they'd be really cool when they're in full bloom - right now it's just the trees and a few pansies blooming, but there's the foretelling of lots of beautiful flowers to come later in spring!
The greenhouse was closed today (Sunday), but that looked like it would be really interesting as well. I can't wait to go back and see it when everything is in full swing!
After taking Cassidy around through the formal gardens, we saw on the OTHER side (not the side of the parking lot from which we came) a sign that said NO DOGS. Lol... oh well. No one seemed too bothered. And she only bit off ONE stem of bleeding heart flowers... haha.
We walked along randomly and found the nature trail, which turned out to be beautiful! I would love to go back for a run one day, or a picnic. We didn't spend long, as Jesse had lots more studying to do - his law exams are coming up already.
Anyway, here are some of the pictures!
