We had another 'snowstorm' today... haha. At least, it was a storm for us Floridians. I was working, but Jesse and Cassidy went out to play in it! The flakes were giant and fluffy, and it snowed quite hard for about an hour and a half! I was watching it through the hospital windows. I'm sure my patients thought I was crazy - I kept going in their rooms to look out the window and saying, "Would you LOOK at that SNOW?! It's so pretty! Wow, I've never seen such giant snowflakes! Look how HARD it's snowing!" They probably had their fill of me after an hour of that..... lol. :)
It had stopped snowing by the time I got off work, which is probably a good thing since I've never driven in snow before... but I have to learn sometime, right? Anyway, I figured out the hard way that I should probably NOT wear my slip-on shoes with holes all over them (like crocs, sort of) to take Cassidy out to pee in the snow. My socks got drenched, and I had to laugh at myself for not thinking about the fact that snow would, of course, get in through all the holes. I guess it's "real" shoes from now on while the snow lasts.....
Anyway, check out the video of Cassidy running wildly around in the snow... it's cute. :)
