Whale Watching

I just finished up my internship and school doesn't start up again for another month, so I thought this would be the perfect time to go to a place that I have always wanted...Southern Africa.

Whale Watching

Left Cape Town on the Baz Bus. The Baz Bus is basicly a long range taxi that picks you up from your hostel and drops you at your next hostel. It is a great and cheap way to get around, plus you almost always meet interesting people to chat with. For longer trips they even show movies. Stopped in Wilderness which is a beautiful town along the Garden Route especially known for whale watching this time of year. The Southern Right Whales will come 50 feet from the shore to have babies because it is too cold around Antartica. It is quite amazing as they jump out of the water literaly right in front of you. Stayed at a lovely little lodge with a great view of the beach and surrounding cliffs. Actually the entire Garden Route is amazing as we stopped at several different locations to pick up and drope off people.
