3rd-day boat trip, after a night with a great storm.
On the first picture you still see the remaining clouds of the storm. I had a delicious Turkish pancake as breakfast with chocolate and bananas offered by a guy that selled these on a little boat and sailed from one boat to another. In the meantime his mom was making the pancakes. We did a short stop in Kalkan but I didn't like the town because of the same reason again : mass tourism!
Now I had the feeling it was time to go home again and I started to miss Belgium again. Strange thing because when I'm in Belgium I want to get away as soon as possible. Our destination was Fethiye and we got there at about 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Still had a few hours so I strolled a bit in the village, chose my fish I would eat in the restaurant and had a nice last meal.
As it was our last night in Turkey, we decided to have a little party and went to a bar. Some friendly Turkish dudes did a performance bellydancing ( yes you read that right: dudes) which lead into really funny shit. The guy that did so even wanted to sell his earring to me that turned green if you pushed a little button. Eventually he gave it to me although I didn't plan to put this EVER in my ear! I'm not a girl and not a gay, lol, but there It appeared to be fashion or at last that is what he told me. I drank a few Raki's and beers and waited for the minivan to bring me to the airport of Dalaman
. I arrived there without having slept one minute so I was a bit cranky in the morning due to tiredness. Arrived in Belgium at 10.30 a.m. and ate some (dutch, not french) fries because this was the only food I had missed during my stay in Turkey. Guess I'm a true Belgian for how far tha tis concerned.
