Tunisia

Like Egypt Tunisia is a place with some ancient beauties, like Carthago. But when we went to Tunisia our goal was firstly a holiday with some sporty things. Like riding a Quad for example.

When we came to Tunisia it was early in the morning, so we had to wait for an hour in our hotel before we could enter the room. But after that we went directly to the beach. The weather in Tunisia was very good, nice sun and not to hot.

The things we did in Tunisia where very different. I have visited the Sahara. There I've driven a dromedary. A great experience! And the sand in the Sahara is Fantastic, very very soft!!! We visited also the place where they shot the movie 'Star Wars'. A great thing for people who saw the movie, I unfortunately hadn't.

But it was a nice place. Futhermore we went to a place where people live in caves. I was told that was the same as in Turkey, but I don't know that for myself. The Sahara was great!

Next days we lied on the beach and did sporty things. We drove Quads in the desert! Very fast because no traffic at all! We did horsedriving on the beach, and played tennis. Very much courts to play Tennis in Tunesia. We did also shopping in Midoun. You can get nice things over there. The people are very kind and nice. But there are some merchants who are a bit impolite. But the most people are very friendly.

Summary

Tunisia a great place to visit, also for the more sporty people. You can drive a jetski, Quad, Buggies and more things. The weather is also perfect for the summer, not to hot but a nice temperature. And if you want to play tennis, bring your gear! Many tenniscourts in Tunisia.
