The city of light: Paris!

Paris, whether it's your first or tenth time in Paris, you'll never be bored in this fantastic city! I stopped counting but i guess this was about my tenth time in Paris and i certainly loved every minute in this city. Because i've seen the main attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomph so many times, we passed over these sights now. For a change, we visited less popular attractions like the l'Institut du Monde Arab. I'm very interested in the arab cultures so i really wanted to go here. The building is very nice and the view from the terrace on the roof is great. You can see the Notre Dame and in broad daylight you can also see the Sacre Coeur from here! After this, we went to the operahouse for a tour.
The first day was a real cultural one and we continued this road by going to the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay the second day. It wasn't my first visit to the Louvre but the museum is so incredibly huge that you won't remember much of the last time. It's unbeleiveble to realise how many works of art are showed here. And it's also unbeleiveble that most of the visitors only go to the museum to see only 1 painting: the Mona Lisa. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice painting, but there's so much more worth to see here! Anyway, i loved this visit just like the visit to the Musée d'Orsay. Not only the works of art are great, but also the building itself. It's an old trainstation and it's kept in a very good condition. As an artlover, i really loved this day.
After all these cultural visits, we decided that we would have a relaxt last day in Paris. So we went walking in the Jardin des Plantes and enjoyed the great weather, we went shopping in the Galleries Lafayettes and we had drinks around the Rue Mouffetard. It was a great trip again and i'm already looking forward to be in Paris again. A bientôt!
