On July 4, 2008 I had the opportunity to drive back from North Carolina to my home in California . Instead of driving straight back like I did on the way to NC, I planned a long road trip to see as much of the US as possible. It came out to 31 days, 10,000 miles, and the experience of a lifetime. My main destinations were theme parks, but I made other stops as well. You never know what you will find along the road

Lewis and Clark Keelboat display and Omaha Casino

The Keelboat display was closed by the time I got there, but was able to stand on the replica of the keelboat they used. The Omaha Casino was far of the freeway, and wasn't doing so good. They still use quarters in their machines, and many of them were broken.
