Ghost Town In The Sky
This is a struggling theme park on top of a hill. It closed a few years ago and some investors are trying to reopen it. The rollercoaster still hasn't reopened, which was the main reason I went, and a few other rides were also closed. This old west theme park actually lets kids run around with cap guns and shoot at each other. To get to the park you take the chairlift, or the incline railway that still hasn't reopened. Ironically, neither stops completely at the top, so you have to take a bus the last 50 feet up, which must cost them quite a bit of money they don't really have. Not only that, if you take the amount of money it's costing them to rebuild the Red Devil now Cliffhanger rollercoaster, and take the money they are losing from their star attraction being closed, and add them together, it's probably enough money to tear the old coaster down and build a new one. Forgive me, but my twenty years in the theme park industry, as well as it being a lifelong hobby, will cause some unusual insights in my blogs. The park offers great views from the top. This was also the first time I ever rode a Paratrooper. Right after that I zipped to Santa's Land but it had already closed.
