On July 4, 2008 I had the opportunity to drive back from North Carolina to my home in California . Instead of driving straight back like I did on the way to NC, I planned a long road trip to see as much of the US as possible. It came out to 31 days, 10,000 miles, and the experience of a lifetime. My main destinations were theme parks, but I made other stops as well. You never know what you will find along the road

Stopped to take a few photos of the Capitol grounds. Another city I drove through without stopping for the day. I also stopped her to buy a few lottery tickets. Ouot of the thirty states I traveled through, I bought lottery tickets in most of them, and won a total of about firty five dollars. Of course, you had to find out online if you won, since I was always a few states away when the drawing came, and had to mail the ticket in, which costs 42 cents. Unfortunately, I did not keep a record of when I bought tickets, or which ones won.
