View of lovely Bern from one of the bridges into town.

Just about 4 o'clock, had some cartrouble in Bazel on the way, arrived in Bern, where I could park my car in a huge field, specially made for all the footy supporters.

Got a map of the city, so I knew where to go to. On the way to downtown passed by a few great sights, with bridges, hills and a river going through the Swiss landscape (sorry for the bad pics, made by mobile phone)

Once I got in town, it was one big orange party going on. The citizens of Bern enjoyed and participated.

After enjoying the first beer of the day, met some friends from home to walk around town, and visiting the big squares where they set up big screens especially to watch the football.

After about two hours walked to the stadium, one long parade from town to stadium. Just 2 hours till the match began!

Lots of Dutch supporters filled up the stands, the game couldn't end badly with all this support.

And it didn't, in a tough match we won 4-1 in the end, atmosphere in the stadium was awesome! This win ment going through to the next round, to play Russia in Bazel. Was already looking forward to another trip to Switzerland, but first the way home......
