This blog will capture my adventures in AZ and Cali. But also my preps for the trip. I started this blog October 2 and it will be continuously updatet till I'm back home again on November 30 :o)) Countdown; it's all over... :o( but I had a blast :o)

A walk in the sun

Staying with Joy and Rob, meant that I had some time on my own. Joy had to work during the day, and I had to find some things to do on my own. Not having a car don't make that so easy, but it was just fine. I started walking around in the neighborhood and learned my way around. I started slow and easy. Just walked for a short while and after a couple of days I knew my way around pretty well. AND I needed the exercise.. HAHA..

And beside – after what happened at the Mexican restaurant in Tucson, I had to take things real easy. The extra pain in my neck didn't allow me to be up for too long at a time. So the first week at Joy's it was nice to just go for walks and otherwise relax. :o)

The weather was so nice and I just couldn't stay indoors all day, so the walks around in the neighborhood gave me “fresh” air, sunshine and a little tan. Joy's neighborhood is a really nice one and I enjoyed walking around and look at some of the houses and also the horses that were not too far from her house. I think I would have like living in this area :o))
