A long process has started to show some progress
My initial plan was to go to the US in September and be gone for a couple of months. However things happened that made me have to rearrange both when I could go and for how long I could be gone.
It has ended up with this; I'm leaving for PHX November 4 and will be in AZ for 5 days. Going to Kayenta, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sedona, before ending up in Tucson at the TB meetup. What an adventure it will be... :o)))
Then I'm heading to Cali on November 9 and will most likely be there till November 29 and then head home. Could be I take a few days in Mexico or Texas, but will have to see what happens.
So instead of 2 months traveling around the states and Mexico, I've cut it down to one month and 2 states. BUT - it will be a blast. Going to meet so many great and wonderful people. I just can't wait... :o)
I haven't started packing yet.

I got myself a new bag today. Instead of a suitcase, Iwanted something a little lighter to drag along, since I'm not gonna stay at one place thruout my trip. Also bought a Deluxe Multipocket neck pouch. Handy to carry all your cash, c-cards, passport and travel documents around your neck. I also gotten those new code locks that US security says you gotto have. Just in case they want to open your bags and see what you're smuggling ... hahahaha....
Hmm.. wonder what else I need to get? I bet there's something...LOL....

Got news today, that a friend of mine who used to live in Pasadena and now lives in NC, might be coming to Pasadena to see me. How sweet is that? :o))

Ok, so I've started thinking about what to pack.. not sure WHAT yet, but I'll figure it out. Still 19 days... or actually I have 17 days before I have to be done packing. Gonna have to spend a couple days at my folks place, so that my cat knows she's gonna be there when Moms gone. Awww.. I'm gonna miss my baby... :o(
But on the other hand, I will have loads of fun with all those crazy people I'm gonna meet.. lol
Booked my flight from TUS to LAX today...will be arriving LAX at 2.48pm.. yay !! ;o)))

I have finally found my US cellphone and the nr. So all I have to do now is to get it re-opened . Which I hope they can do without my PIN, since I have no idea what my PIN is and it doesn't look like I wrote it down anywhere either. STUPID!! LOL.... I hope they can send me either the one I got when I bought the phone, or a new one.
Anyway, the phone is on charging. Allthough I have a sneeky feeling I will have to charge it a few more times before I leave. HAHAHA....

2 weeks left before take off. Have to get to the bank and exchange some cash. I have a few dollar from before, but figured a few more can't hurt. LOL
Guess I'll do that tomorrow.
Not much else happening right now. Just thinking about how to organize things for when I'm gone. Need someone to go get my mail, unless I talk with the postoffice and let them hold on to my mail till I'm back? Hmmm.. that's an idea. Didn't even think of it until now.. lol

As I mentioned yesterday, I was thinking about go to the bank and exchange some money. I did stop by the bank today, but as it turns out, it will only cost be 25NOK, about 4-5 $ to use my card at an ATM machine, so I figured I'd just do that instead of paying the bank exchange fee. That would probably cost me more.. So ok, now the money issue has been solved. :o)
Went by a tanning salon today as well, so that I don't look like a ghost coming off the plane. HAHAHA...
