Picnic at Griffith Park
Sunday was set to be picnic meet up at Griffith Park. Jenn who originally was the organizer, had to back out due to some personal circumstances, so Tracy had taken on the role. As Tracy spent the night at Joys and Robs, I headed to the park with her to be there before people started showing up.
I think we got to the park around 11.30, found a parking space and set out to find a good spot to sit. At first we just walked around and there were a lot of kids birthday parties going on which made it a bit difficult to find a good spot. We tried to sit at one of the picnic tables there, but a park guard or something came and said we couldn't sit there as long as we didn't have a permit? Huh? Oh well, we took our stuff and went and sat on the grass. Or actually, Tracy had these neat low chairs that we sat on.
We were getting kinda hungry at this time and Tracy called Rob and Joy. They were going by Panda Express to pick up our food. Only they were...ummm.. LATE... hahaha
But they showed up around 2-ish I think and we had a great time talking, laughing and eating good food. :o)
Too bad there were not more people coming to our picnic and too bad it didn't last longer. The time came to say goodbye and head in different directions. Hugs all around and promises to see each other again as soon as possible.
Tracy, Paul and I headed down to Hollywood Blvd. after the picnic... much fun. Next entry...
