Goodbye Adrian - Goodbye Arizona
The time had come.. it was my last few hours in Arizona and with a very dear friend, Adrian. It had been a few hectic days, but they had been filled with so many wonderful impressions, sights and sounds. Not to mention the memories I made with Adrian. Even though this was the first time we saw each other, it was like we had been friends forever. We had such a good time together and I was sad that it was already over.
But before it was time for Adrian to take me to the airport, we had some time to look around the hotel area and shoot some more pictures. And since Keith and Dema also staid at the same hotel, we decided to have brunch with them. It was so great. I've never seen a brunch table look anything like this. The variety of food, sweets, fruits and cakes was just incredible. There were so much different things I wanted, but I had to restrain myself. But after eating proper food, I just HAD to try some cake and of course a chocolate covered strawberry. It was delicious – and expensive. But once in a while it's ok to treat yourself to a wonderful brunch. HAHAHA....
After brunch it was time to say goodbye to Keith and Dema and time to get to the airport.
We used some time getting to Tucson airport and when we got there, found parking space and started walking towards the entrance, Adrian realized that he had forgotten the parking ticket in the car and ran back to get it. Not that he HAD to run, because I had some time before I had to check in.
Well inside I checked in and we sat down to talk for a bit. Adrian stopped a nice man who took our picture.
OK.. time to go. It was sad having to say goodbye to such a great friend. But like all good things, it had to come to an end. The good thing is that we will meet again and go on more road trips.
Bye, Adrian... Thanks for making my Arizona stay such a great one. See you on line and see you next year. Love you, my friend :o)
