Americana shopping mall
Early Saturday morning and Joy and I are on our way to Glendale for Joy's hairdressers appointment. Had a couple of stops on our way, but was soon heading to the Americana Shopping Mall.
On the way we could see the smoke from the fires in the distance. It was such a tragedy and lots of people lost their homes in these fires.
As we arrived in Glendale, Joy found a parking space inside a parking garage and we went to her hair salon. On the way there, we walked along the Americana shopping mall. The Americana is a huge area with different stores, coffee shops etc. It's quite pretty there with the large fountain. On the other end of the area, I could see a stage where there were some sort of entertainment going on.
I went to the salon with Joy and waited for a while. It was so much different then salons back home, so I kinda enjoyed watching and see how they do it here compared to home. And in different I mean the layout of the salon and how you're moved around from one place to another before your hair is done. Strange, but yet fascinating. :o)
It was gonna take a while before she was done, so in the mean time I went over to the mall and did some shopping. I wasn't sure how much time I had, so I stressed a bit. Turned out I had some time, but I'd rather be at the salon early and not let Joy wait because I wanted to shop. LOL....
After she was done we found the car and headed home... TB meet-up dinner tonight.. YAY :o)))
