This would be the longest meet-up. Mine started on tuesday and continued till saturday evening. A lot of sightseeing in old and new Lima with Yadi, Lili and a lot more friends. After this 5-day meet-up I will travel to Cuzco, do some sightseeing there, and have a 2 day tripo to Machu Picchu. I have to leave Peru on the 25th of September.

A really really fun day with dance and music and pisco's!

We added 4 more girls to make it 9 guys and 5 girls.....

This is going to be the real meet-up day. And today starts as usual: Meet at the church at 10 am. We were 9 guys and 1 girlJ. We took cabs downtown and stopped at the Plaza mayor. We were just taking pictures as TravBuddies do J, and suddenly there were 4 girls who helped us taking pictures. At one point the 4 girls were standing there with 10 cameras, just taking pictures of the group, and we taking pictures of them. We walked along and headed to another square. After taking pictures again and again we slowly walked back to the Plaza Mayor. We took cabs again to drive us to the restaurant for lunch. The restaurant was not easy to find for the driver, but he managed.

The restaurant was El Cascajal, with a Peruvian buffette.

I had a perfect place with a view over the dance floor. Then another person came…. Yadi’s mother. She is a very lovely woman but I could not talk to here. She speaks Spanish. The lunch started with Mark singing New York, New York. He did a very great job. Everybody in the restaurant liked it very much! Then we had our lunch buffet, and while we were having it they gave us a awesome dance show with music. This is just great. Some of us joined the group dancing, like Dan and Francisco.

Another travBuddie came à Malvin from Singapore, but he hasn’t been in Singapore for years. Then Yadi had to explain where we all came from to the girl who was singing. After more dancing and putting each other on fire we finally left the restaurant. This was REALLY SO MUCH FUN.

We went back to the church and walked back to our hotel. I bough myself some stamps, and wrote my cards to send to family and friends. I needed some rest because the evening would be more fun, if this was possible!
