At pm we met again in front of the church and with a few cabs we went to Barranco. After waiting a little bit on the main square Yadi showed us around. We had a tradition to walk over a bridge, the sign bridge, with your eyes closed. Heey, that was just like a dutch ‘Polonaise’ J If you kept your eyes closed till you are over the bridge, your wish will come true! I don’t know how many wishes will come true J . At the other side of the bridge Mark found a guy with a guitar and he borrowed his guitar to sing a song for us. Again he did a great job. We walked a little bit further till we arrived at a great view point. You could see the cross there, that was placed there when the pope visited Lima.
The whole gang!
The group was growing: gorgeous Yuliana and Jim came. We went to a bar called angel’s place and we were a little bit hungry. We wouldn’t have diner because of the big lunch. We ordered just a few snacks for anybody who liked something to eat. And Lili joined us. More and more fun we had with our Pisco’s. Lili brought a painting with pictures of us from last night. We secretly signed it without Yadi knowing. When everybody signed it we gave it to Yadi. She was surprised by such a great gift. I think she liked it J. The second thing I signed was the T-shirt for Malvin. He was born the farst:Singapore. I had a great time talking to again other TravBuddies. Suddenly we all got a gift from Yadi: Chullo’s, a Peruvian hat. You can find it on some pictures J. Then we had to say goodbye to: Mark, Martin, Pavel, Dan and Marian. They had to catch there plains around .
