Vegas Here We Come...

When Rob found out he had to go to Vegas, I decided to join him. Why not? I've got the free time right now and need some rest and relaxation so what better place than Sin City itself! We decided to stay at the Red Rock - Northwest of the strip, so that we could avoid the two "T's" - tourists and traffic also because the meetings he needed to go to were close to the Red Rock. I'm so excited! 3 Days of doing nothing! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! While Rob was in his meetings, I hit the mall and lounged around the pool! The weather was fantastic. High 90's! Perfect tanning weather. Since, I couldn't make it to Latin America - I'll work on my tan here!

As soon as our dates were set and our room was reserved, I contacted all the TBer's I met when I was here the last time to see if we could all get together for dinner! Melissa, Sal, RJ, John, and Melanie. Of course our Queen "CW" was off on a travel adventure to Maui and then went to LA, John left for Korea the day before we arrived so I wasn't able to see him...BUT, Melissa, RJ and Sal were up for it!

We decided to meet-up on Tuesday night the 30th at 8pm at Panevino. After getting a lost for just a bit....right directions, but didn't know there were two Sunset Road exits off the 215...no ones fault, Rob and I finally met up with the infamous Vegas TBer's - an hour late and famished, but it was just so good to see familiar faces! I love them to death and this is the first time I got to share these wonderful people with the "Man of My Dreams" Rob! Yes, he was able to meet Melissa (the coordinator), RJ and Sal! I heard Nancy was supposed to join us, but she wasn't able to make it at the last minute. ...next time Nancy! (Nancy did get to meet Rob at the Hermosa Beach Meet-up last June)....any ways, we had wonderful appetizers, great wine choice - thanks to Rob...and great entree's. Dessert was to die for and I think that was the only food pictures we remembered to take. We inhaled the rest of the food, because the poor Vegas TBer's had to wait for me and Rob and then we got to talking, so it was late by the time we started to eat! Sorry guys!

I had such an awesome time, that we've already decided to meet again in LA for another TB meet-up. Not only to get together with old friends, but to send our little Jenn off with a BANG!!!! So, if you're in LA in the middle to end of January 2009, look us up - there may be an LA Travbuddy meet-up in your neck of the woods!
