Although last night I went to bed late (almost at 3!), I woke up at 6:40am! I tried to go to the gym, but it was too much... Also I had to be somewhere else by 9:30am, so no time. Ok, no time for the gym, but time to keep on sleeping, haha. I went back to bed, but not for long, since I had to check something from work... well, so it's life.

Yesterday I told Adam that we'd try the cebiche for lunch the next day. I sent a message letting him know I'd be at his hostel around 12:30pm. I have been driving almost the whole day, from one place to another. I even tried to meet another friend, but she was busy... when I checked my watch it was getting late. I had barely enough time to arrive to Adam's hostel. The day was perfect for cebiche, so sunny but really hot!!!

Adam was ready when I arrived.

He hasn't done much during the morning. I guess he had a bit of hangover, haha. So, today would be a quiet day. I was expecting a difficult time to find a parking spot and a long waiting line at the restaurant. But we were lucky, found the perfect spot and the line wasn't long. We took a short walk and it was time to get our table. The waiter hasn't left the menus, when I asked for Inca Kolas :)

Adam was trying to read the menu, but better let the local decide, hehe. After making sure what he likes and dislikes, I ordered choritos as appetizer. They were really fresh and tasty. Adam liked them too!!! We were enjoying the laid back atmosphere there, our inca kolas and chatting about different things, such as travel experiences in foreign countries, strangest food you have ever tried and even American Football - why is this sport so popular in the USA, but mostly just there???.
choritos were tasty...

Our waiter came back with our main dishes. A Fish Cebiche for Adam and a Fish & Seafood one for me. When I was ordering them the waiter asked me if Adam's should be not spicy, mmm. He loves Thai and Indian food, which tells me he eats spicy, so bring the regular one, hehe. By the way, everytime the waiter was near us, he had to take a pic, haha. The food was very good and Adam enjoyed it. I was a big concerned if he'd like the raw fish, but he loves sushi, so...

We were just chatting when I noticed he came to Lima with a mission... to convince me to visit him and Jered in Vina! haha. Jered even mentioned I should bring Gunther with me down there, haha. Well, that sounds awesome!!! Now I have to find the time to do it.

I have never been in Chile and visiting them would be so great!!! Well, he was getting full, but it didn't stop him to order a dessert. Since the very first minute we walked into the restaurant and he saw the girl with the desserts, he knew he'd have dessert. So probably, it was his strategy and was just saving space, haha. When the girl came to our table, I was about saying: "no, thanks" when I saw he grabbed a chocolate mousse, haha. He was very fast, haha.

It was around 2:30pm when we left the restaurant. I had to go back to work while he'd take a walk and a nap! haha. We were talking about meeting later, but for something quiet. Unfortunately we couldn't meet, bad communication... oh well! things happen for a reason, also our idea was to party on Friday night, so better to save energies ;)
